2 of 5 rattlesnakes that I had recently died due to an unfortunate accident. My house was being fumigated for termites and I had to give the snakes to my friend for a while. Well he keeps his snakes in a shed, and it got so hot in there that my big male Southern Pacific and my big female that I've had for years died because of the heat. Needless to say, it really hit me hard. I've never had a snake die, and it was hard to deal with.
Anyways, this morning I woke up and from my bed I could see a tiny snake in the cage of my 3 remaining Southern Pacifics. The other female I have that was living with the big male that died, had 5 healthy babies! I had no idea she was pregnant!

Sorry for your loss. Many of us have lost animals for one reason or another that may have been preventable. Great news with the babies. I hope they all do great for you.
