What bird eater is p. metallica? Also in true aussie funnel webs the males only possess the proper toxin that is fatal in humans.

Sorry the only p. metallica I know is the gooty orinamental tree spider. Thats why I asked.

That's exactly what I though too, Tim. I have seen bird-eaters go for ~$90, and I had always thought that Theraphosa blondi, was the species reffered to as the 'Bird Eater".. Take Care, -J. Mendrola

There are several different birdeaters, poecilotheria metallica is not one of them.
