It is great that these snakes are being kept alive, where they can be observed for behavior, produce young,and be milked for venom research.
Much better than them winding up in a pickle jar.
Seems that the Australians might be a bit smarter than a lot of American museum folks.
They will be perfectly good pickles, after they die in captivity. The museum vampires will just have to wait a few years.
