Consider stopping by the Wildlife Discovery Center and I'll give anyone the red carpet tour. We are approximately 35 miles north of Chicago and while we aren't big by zoo standards, we have two beautiful indoor reptile exhibit halls including many venomous plus some wonderful outdoor exhibits featuring raptors, a bobcat, and trails leading into the highest quality tall grass savanna in North America. Best of all, thanks to a generous donor, we are free of charge (but always encourage a donation:-) so c'mon up, or down, or wherever you are coming from. We have some beautiful new exhibits too including our Timber Rattlesnake exhibit that is the Taj Mahal of Timber exhibits. There's my cheap plug for the day. Have a good one.

Rob,
I am very interesterd in coming to your facility... I will most likely be making a road trip to Dettroit to pick up some more snakes in the near future so perhaps I could make the extra trip to Chicago... Also, if you have the time, I wouldn't mind discussing some zoo manageing points with you in case the proposed new Ontario exotic laws get passed... it may be the only way I can keep my creatures!

Plane ticket and rental car paid for, I WILL be at Reptile Rampage! For anyone in the Midwest (and even if you're not), it would be well worth your while to stop by Rob's facility. Top notch and then some.

Luke, you are welcome to come on out and pick my brain...would be happy to share my ups and downs in getting this place off the ground. Bill, you da man...I've got a complimentary t-shirt and hat for you as a way to say thanks for making the trek (new stuff too...hot off the press!).

Rob has an absolutely EXCELLENT Facility. We loved the layout, the attention to detail and of course the animals. A MUST if your in Chicago, plus he is a pretty nice guy as well!

The place is definitely worth the time taken to visit it. Very healthy animals set up in spacious, clean enclosures.
Everything done the way it should be :)

Thanks for the very kind words guys. We may not be big but we do take a lot of pride in giving our animals the best in care in the nicest exhibits our budget will allow...our new Timber Rattlesnake exhibit is a testament to our commitment to doing things right. Thanks again Jared and Bryan for the nice words...you guys are always welcome back!
