Does anyone know where I could find a chart of how many deaths are caused by pet venomous snakes in the US? I know the number is really low, I just need some proof. It's for a research paper.

You won't find anything that will constitute "proof". You can compile a list of known cases (I don't know of an existing list) and it will be short, but a skeptic will suggest, not unreasonably, that there are cases that are not reported. Since you can't quantify how many are NOT reported, you can't "prove" very much.
About the best you can do might be something like compile a list of known snake bite deaths from reputable sources and then compile a list of, say, dog attack deaths from the same sources (which will be much longer). Or lightning deaths... Or choking on food... Or...

I would rephrase that to say "keeping venomous snakes" instead of "pet venomous snakes".
I keep a lot of venomous snakes but I do not consider them pets. Most people that I know would regard them in this manner.
Just food for thought.

How about communities that have had more deaths than us? Hmmm. Surfers, Snow Boarders, MotoCross, Street Racers, Bikers, Backpackers, etc. Since this website started, technically in 1998 if you count the original site, I would estimate our death toll due to snakebite at around 10. More than one of them I'm quite certain was due to poor medical care.

I'll post an excerpt from some of my own research for you:
Between 2001 and 2004, 9873 snakebites were treated in US emergency departments annually. Venomous snakes accounted for 3188 bites, and 6684 bites were from nonvenomous or unspecified snake types. Of the total number of venomous and nonvenomous snakebites recorded, 3.8% were the result of an interaction with a pet or captive snake, 6.8% involved an intentional interaction with a wild snake and 23.4% were accidental interactions. In this study, which was conducted using hospital records, 65.9% of cases did not give enough information to ascertain a cause for the snakebite (O'Neil et. Al. 2007, Juckett et. al. 2002). It was not specified what proportion of the 3.8% bitten by pet snakes were from venomous species. Another study conducted over a 20 year period from 1979 to 1998, state total mortality from venomous snakebite at 97 deaths nationwide in that time period, an average of 5.1 deaths per year (The Southern Medical Association 2004).
I hope this helps you. It's the best info I could find from objective, reliable sources.
