Can anybody please tell me how you go about proving the existence of a new subspecies. lets just say i already have proof of notable anatomical differences and behaviour, but who do i contact with the information?

try Paul Freed, I think his email is pfreed@houstonzoo.org. I'm sure he would be interested and if he can't help you directly he should be able to put you in touch with someone who can. I wouldn't expect a quick response by email but he will respond, I think he doesn't check his email very often.
