I am so surprised that there is not a bigger fuss about the aweful programs on Animal Planet, such as Rattlesnake Republic. I'm sure most of you have seen it and the brutal redneck snake hunters calling each rattler a $20 bill. Where are the PETA queers when it comes to snakes?

Animal Planet sucks!! They no longer seem to promote wildlife but instead they air shows that rely on butchering of animals and ignorance. And that show rattlesnake republic in particular I believe is staged. At least with the father/son team. That beaded lizard looked way to good and have a perfect shed to be living on its own in a super hot/dry environment. And the pool episode?? Are you kidding me?! Nat Geo Wild is the best IMO in regards to wildlife shows.

I completely agree, its a bit of an outrage. Not to mention all the other shows that make exotics and the people that own them look like hermit whack jobs that do nothing but tend to their creatures. Not to mention that other show natures deadliest or something.
Its also not just animal planet. Hell look at the history channel! When was the last time you watched a special on WWII or any actual history for that matter. Personally I couldn't give a flying rats ass about pawn stars and crap in the closet or whatever that show with the sales of stuff in storage units is called. Quality tv shows have gone down the drain.
I don't know about you guys but when was the last time you saw an episode of Marty Stouffer's wild America on? Because honestly I don't remember. Yet people wonder where the government gets these crazy ideas for exotic animal bans.
Personally I've had enough...
Stay safe guys, Eric Vanerka
