Why? There is a wealth of available, clean CB critters in the US. I would take advantage of that! When I got started in the 60's, everything was an import and the vast majority were stressed, parasitized, scruffy looking, etc. I suspect that anything "new" you would be able to import would cost dollars and heartache. However, I wish you luck if you go for it! Always step back about 50 feet when you open the box. You never know what's in there or how (of at all) it's contained!

International shipping is always expensive and complicated. Mistakes can mean the shipment is rejected or seized. I'd recommend getting an experienced broker to do the heavy lifting for you.
You might start here: http://www.fws.gov/le/ImpExp/Info_Importers_Exporters.htm
I know that most live venomous coming in to the US comes through Miami. You might give the Wildlife Inspectors there a call with questions, as they probably have the best experience to help you.
