Hey everyone...just wondering if its profitable to breed a pair of Albino WDB's. Would you buy one?
I did...I think they are gorgeous. It's just a project id like to do down the line.
My WDB is still to young to mate, idk if male or female oh and i've never bred any snakes. So basically clueless...bottom line is "would albino wdb's sell?"

No offence, but if you can't sex a wdb you probably shouldn't have it due to the danger of the specie . Also SO many people produce them that it really is a matter of personal preference over potential income. Unless you have albys that are het for more desirable morphs like xanthics. Wish you the best and be SAFE.

None taken...cus I never said I didn know how to sex a wdb. Said I did t know if mine was a male or female( I only mention that cus breeding is a thought that crossed my mind...nothing else...like a "heck I don't even know what kind it is") I am clueless to breeding snakes. I've never tried that...sure I can read on the web...but nothing would beat getting tips and advice from an experienced breeder. Was just curious what the market is for them...since I'm in California it's the only kind(albinos) I can legally sell here.

The easiest way to sex them is by counting the black and white rings on the tail. Usually 4 to 6 rings is a female and 7 or more is a male. This is usually pretty accurate but not 100%. Best of luck.

Just curious David, but how were you able to acquire a hot permit in California? They are next to impossible to obtain out here.

Hey Todd. I don't have a permit. I wish I did cus Id love to have a cobra again. I have 2 rattlesnakes a wdb and a southern pacific....since they are native to California they are legal to keep as long as u only have 2 of each.

No license required either(link below) Lol! Yes strange laws but I'm glad California allows that since the state in general is a pain.
