I noticed this ad today - no profile filled out - and was wondering if anyone knows who "redpygmyman" is? Is he legit? Those pygmies look suspiciously like wild-caught animals. Personally, I have no problem with a dedicated and experienced herper judiciously and selectively collecting just a specimen or two for his/her own use - Lord knows enough rattlesnakes suffer far worse fates at the hands, or under the wheels, of the local-yokels. I have SERIOUS problems, however, with anyone coming down here to my home state and making off with our wildlife in order to turn a quick buck on the internet, and I will do everything in my power to assist my friends at NC Wildlife in apprehending and prosecuting such individuals. Of course, I am also aware that this ad may have been posted by authorities who are trying to ensnare unwary buyers, so I'd be wary of that too.

I already deleted that ad once, primarily because the person did not fill in their profile.
I agree with your sentiments, I also get ill towards people I know to be essentially stealing wildlife from you, me, my children, and future generations.
If there is suspicion regarding the legitimacy of an ad, call it out.
Of course, as you said, it could be a set up ad.
