Please fill out your profile so folks have an idea who they're talking to. Plus it's a site rule. All of the wooden transport boxes I have seen, including the ones I have were home made. Take care, Marty

Yes I make them. But not out of wood. I male them out of a white PVC cellular board. They are easier to clean and keep sterile. I make all sizes.

I have been doing Educational Snake programs with venomous snakes for over 25 years. I load the snakes into the display cages at home and don't take them out until I return home unless I am doing capture training.
I use acrylic towers and neodesha cages for educational programs. These are great for display and security.
You have to make these containers idiot proof when doing programs. People will insist on putting their hands all over cages housing venomous snakes!
I use shift boxes for cobra hide boxes and one time to transport a 12' King cobra to a Zoo. They worked great for that. I would not use one for transport on a regular basis since they are not designed to be easily opened and accessible. At least the ones I have anyway.
I really like the screw top lidded 5-gallon buckets for transport in the field or rescue calls. They are are secure and easy access to the snake providing it fits in the bucket1 LOL
Just a few suggestions...

I might be mistaken. But what I make and use are trap boxes. Some of them I put a plexiglass window in the bottom. So I can view the ssnake. Are you referring to those boxes used by those crazy churches down south that dance around with copperheads?
