I know that the volcano hognose viper has a limited range from the Buenos Aires Volcano in the Valle De General (Puntareanas Province), and only occuring from 1,300 feet to 1,475feet above sea leval. I read that recent habitat disruction has lead to a massive decline in an already small population. I read that the recent attempts to locate the snake faild. Just wanted to know if this is true?
