Is this a brindle black rat snake ?????

I have a black rat snake about 5 a and a half feet long. it has lots of supper nice orange color all over it. it was caught in northern Mississippi. It has gray to black blotches as a lot of them do. But is all the hight orange on it normal. sorry about the spelling.
I do have pics.

I have a friend that breeds Brindle Black Rat Snakes. If you want to email me a picture at Buzztail1@hotmail.com I will have him check it out. From your description it sounds like a Corn Snake intergrade. But, I no longer identify snakes without seeing them.
