Is there any chemical solution that can be used to demonstrate the level of toxicity in snake venom ? It should be in a form of a colour change , where comparison is possible between a highly venemous and a mildly venemous species as I'm intending to do a demonstration on snake venom at the university.

Nope. Look up the term LD50 on Google.com - It should explain the process for determining the toxicity of venom. It's a long drawn out process.

Also, check out VenomDoc.com. It's list's the LD50's for many species. One visual way of demonstrating toxicity for laymen is to draw up a "lethal dose" in a tuberculin syringe. I usually put something like apple juice in the syringe since it is the same color (it freaks people out though because they think it is venom LOL). I put the liquid amount for several species into several different syringes for comparison.
This is really only a general comparison because there's no exact figure for the liquid quantity that would kill a particular person. It serves it's purpose though.

you could use haemotoxic venoms and demonstrate their effects by showing what it does to several blood samples.
