i guess i forgot to mention-the rattler is an arizona black(crotalus v. cerberus) would this make it a fair trade(for the boas posted in the last fair trade).by the way, these will have to be shipped.....i agree that the trade should be equal in money value.thanks for your help -adam

After I responded the first time I realised that I made a mistake in reading the original post.... I read "Blacktail" and you wrote "Arizona Black"..... I still think the deal is lopsided, but that's just one man's opinion... your animals are worth what you can get for them, and so is the Az. Black that you're negotiating for.... One thing is certain, the venomous shipper will have to work harder to get his/her animal on a plane than you will....

I have seen what I would have believed were far worse trades that both parties walked away from, very happy.
I guess it all depends on how badly you want an Arizona Black?

I definitely agree with Karl on this one. If YOU are satisfied with the arrangement, then that's all that really matters... not what we think.
I've always wanted a nice pair of Az. Blacks, but not desparately enough to pay the going rate for the quality animals I have wanted... again... the animals are only worth what someone, and in that case me, is willing to pay for them... and I couldn't see it... especially since the snakes were wild caught.
Good luck
