Click a link to anyone's profile and then edit the url in the location/address line of your browser so the last part says "myreptilespoop".
While I can see people objecting to it, I do think you're overreacting a bit.
From a practical point of view, if you're letting your kids use the internet you have millions of FAR worse things to worry about...

I agree with Larry on the internet sense. As for the overall, if you don't like the picture dont go to the guy's profile..

I blame all of you for that one. I didn't know what you all were talking about but then you guys made such a stink about it that I had to check out that profile. "I wish I hadn't". Yuck and thanks a lot!!! Gosh that was horrible.
Anyway, I don't believe that anyone was posting against the photo just to get into an arguement. The photo is moralless and disgusting. I believe that it has no purpose on this website. I think that it should be removed because it is tasteless and bad ethics. It has nothing to do with venomous reptiles and therefore shouldn't be posted. None of us are the webmaster however so it is ultimately up to them.
I personally believe that few photos outside of this narrow field of reptiles and amphibians should be posted, otherwise it just wastes valuable webspace. Like many people on this topic have said, there are other websites that can use crazy photos like that. Lets keep this site as clean as possible. Those photos that are posted which do not contain a reptile or amphibian related item should contain the person whose profile is on display in an ethical manor.
In other words, I think we all want to see who we are communicating with and it is always nice to see people interacting with venomous snake, etc... in their pics. Not everyone has venomous snake handling photos though so it is necessary for people to have photos of them posted that aren't about reptiles, etc... These should still be tasteful and not reflect poor views of the person or others. I believe that this site is an excellent source of information to the public and, even though a few bad apples get onto this site, I don't think that children or others should be shunned from it. So lets try to keep idiotic, weird, and non-traditional photos and comments out of here. Not everyone has the same humor as everyone else, especially that weird and sick junk. Don't post things just to get a reaction from people.

We have contacted the user regarding the profile picture in question, and he agreed to remove the pic out of courtesy.
Due to our current site settings, we actually have to get into the root directory of the system in order to remove the pic, which may take a day or two.
We appreciate everyone's patience and consider the issue resolved.
Please do NOT post any further replies to this threat!
