I would really be interested to know what more everyone thinks the officers of the SHHS should be doing.

Thanks for responding. As a society in my oppinion we should tighten up our mission statement and position regarding this topic. Just my thought, it maybe shared by others, it's hard to tell with so few comments on this thread. It would need a larger sampling of membership to see if has merit or not. I don't know what parlamentary rules govern our society(officers/board of director) because I'm new to the society. Heck, so many of us are spread all over the map. Just having a normal meeting must be a major task. Is there a history regarding this topic that I am un-aware of where it was discussed in the past?

i am very glad that im not the only one that feels bad about and concerned about all the wild caught reptiles . when i whent to the alabama dixie reptile show there were tables where all the snakes were wild caught i couldnt believe it stacks of black racers and corns and kings made me just sick.
