Have any of you kept O. hannah that were converted to rodents? Know anyone that has? read it even?
It so seems to me that they eat snakes for a reason, therefore a snake eating king would be healthier. However many sources contradict each other...
any info would be appreciated.

Eh, they are around, ive even seen em on Ksnake classifieds. I just dont really know the facts about the rodents and the snake...

I have raised all of our Kings from hatchlings to adult...one is slightly over legitamately 14 feet on a diet of pinks to hoppers to chicks to mice to rats. No ill effects. The digestive system is no different than any other snake, rats digest easier than snakes....or lizards. It really boils down to you personal preference....

We have maintained kings on the venom production line on rodents/chicks. Some have had small amounts of fur in feces but those maintained on snakes have also had scales in their feces. Digestion of food appears to be about the health of the animal in most cases with kings.

Ive also been told that some people have started kings on fish...anyone familiar with this?
