I have a few Copperheads living in a stone wall right outside of my kitchen door and want to get rid of them. I know the first thing is stay away and they won't bother us but I have pets, children, and a neurotic mother who would never visit again if she caught sight of them. So my question is can I pour some substance down behind the stone wall that will merely send them looking for shelter farther away from the line of sight and traffic? Thanx, Don

Hi:
That may be a den site this early in the year. Remember: they were there first. You may end up causing them to re-locate to somewhere else like your garage. Best to get rid of their food source as a way of getting them out of the area.
Geeze you could market them as way of ridding people of their neurotic mothers...small price to pay.
Good Luck,
Al
