I need some help with a slight injury to a bull snake I recently caught. I pulled her from a hole and believe she scraped her head some coming out. There was no blood but an obvious abrasion. I am not sure if this was there before or if I did it but before I return her I wanted to know if there is any first aid treatment I should apply before releasing her?? I would appreciate any assistance. Thanks.

I had a race that a man atemped to kill before calling me(he lightly nicked the snake with shovel not a serios cut). I just kept it for a few weeks and put a little neosoren on the cut
hope this helps
PS. unless you think it may get infected I would let it drink some water and release him/her
