Does anyone know of any cottonmouth articles like the one on red pigmy's and copperheads? Or any other sources of care on them??

I haven't seen any care sheets, but housing suitable for copperheads would be fine.With the adults I've had in the past,live or F/T mice are accepted foods. I would also give them an occasional frog. The 2 juviniles I have now have been eating just frogs until this wkend. I gave them each a F/T pinkie.I've never had one that was any trouble feeding. Good luck, Marty

My website has some info on cottonmouths, although it does not go into captive maintenance. They will do well on rodents, usually accepting freshly killed or f/t readily. They will also accept fish. If frogs are to be used, freezing them first to knock back the parasite load might be a good idea. Water in the cage, except for drinking is not necessary.
