From speaking to various venomous keepers, most seem to have at least one which tries to kill them. I have a naja annulifera which does that. Anyone else have a snake from hell?

Had A Crotalus Terrificus..that seemed bent on murder!.. Captive born and I raised her from a tiny baby..but at 4 feet she was still murder to be around..Id have to invent all sorts of diversions just to open her pen ..especially to feed.. She was clever even if dangerous ! Never tagged me though..Thank god!!

It isn't aren't hot, but I have a male spotted python that is an aggressive feeder. So aggressive he tries to eat me! I have been bitten by this snake so many times its not funny. I have to use a hook on him so I won't get bit. Doesn't hurt, but he constricts and will hold on for 20-30 minutes. More of a pain in the butt than painful.
My watersnakes are also a pain to work with. They actually musk and thrash around more than they bite though.
The hot snakes are pretty calm and easier to work with.

My snouted is a stunning snake, already 1.8m and healthy-but, WOW, does he hate humans. He won't ride a hook, strikes UP from his tote, and is generally the most satanic nsnake I have ever encountered.
On the non-hot side, I have a 2m female yellow annie which has a similar temperament to the snouted. I used to hook her, but she's too heavy.
Feeding/cage-cleaning = getting tagged!!

Hmmm... The worst ones I care for are not the intentional killers. We have one forest cobra that will leap off the hook, charge and strike in your direction, but I can deal with him ok. The worst ones are the PNG taipan that jumps off the hook and takes off at 90 miles an hour in some random direction. If I happen to be in the direction he picks to go, it can be like fencing to keep him away from my feet...he's not really trying to get me, just get away, but I personally have no interest in having a taipan climbing my leg. We also have a jameson's mamba that is managable most of the time, but occasionally gets it into his head that it might be nice to leave, which usually starts with him climbing up the hook and sometimes moves on to me tailing him to keep him from behid the cages, which I REALLY don't like to do with him, since he's strong enough to come straight up at my arm. Again, he's not trying to get me, (I don't remember him ever opening his mouth), he's just trying to climb me, but either way, it's not good...

Mine is not hot but i would say my amazon tree boas are out to bite me. I have bite three times and i have bleeded one heck of a lot of blood. Also one of my two bullsnakes is mean but not as bad of a bite as the tree boa but the funny thing is the other one is a little sweet heart. My scrub python is by far the worst bite yet she has bite me on the head, finger and hand. She drew one heck of alot of blood from each bite. Also those little black racers can be a hand full. I have worked with red belly water snakes but they dont try to bite at all. It was my fault each and every time and i dont care that much anymore i just try to not get bite anymore.

The worst snake I have ever had was a very big forest cobra. All it cared about was killing someone. luckily not me. It was nothing less then crazy.
