My kingsnake is bleeding out the anal area and I was wandering what was wrong. He doesnt act any different. The scales around his neck is dryed out looking also. Could it be a result of the cypress mulch I have him in? Can this be cured? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry no one has replied. I read somewhere that the ground medium that you have your snake in could be the reason you are having this problem. If the medium is too damp your snake could have problems of this nature. Try a dryer medium and if it doesn't clear up, you may want to seek out a qualified reptile vet.
