I know many people who will modify aquariums and such to be appropriate for venomous snakes. Be it add locks to the lids or whatever, Im not sure what they do, but many are successful with it. Ive also seen it done with rubbermaids, something like clever locks maybe.
Anyway. I was pondering the idea of velcro. I have wrapped non venomous cages with 3 rows of velcro, and frankly, I dont know if I could squeeze a finger out from inside...
Although, Im wondering if its on the same page as duct tape....
any insight is appreciated.
Thanks

I used a slightly stretchy twine around rubbermaids before. I would tie it around fairly tight and knot it well. I could then sldie it on & off when needed. On the smaller sweaterboxes I used 2 strings, one at each end. I have kept neonates in these types of enclosures with no problems.
