Australian aborigines and snake bites

Dr. Fry,
I was wondering about how often the aborigine people in the out back have to deal with snake bites and how often they die from them ? There can not be much help for them way out like that and they must run into snakes a lot. Are there a lot of deaths in the out back from snake bites over there ?
