Saw this article about two girls who had to be rescued because they were surrouned by rattlesnakes.
What kind of rattlesnake lives in Montana?

There are several types of rattlesnakes here in montana, Most are diamondbacks or prairie rattlesnakes.

Yeah, I saw this on the AP wire a minute ago...
Puh-lease....
There are just too many things to shoot down here...pathetic, truly pathetic. Ignorance rules.
And just for the record- No Atrox's in montana...least the last time I checked. My guess is Viridus.
But still sad that this passes for news.

I'm of the same school of thought as Mulebrother. I am now seeing this spread across the country on all of the news stations...maybe some mass hysteria will bring the roundup cowboys out in droves to hunt the crots out of existence. Boy howdy! How did this even make the news? I'm sure this isn't the first time 2 people have been around 3 rattlers in close proximity. What the media is doing today in every facet is to run something down into the ground. Don't get me wrong, I do believe in the constitution and free speech, press, owning and bearing of guns...etc. I just feel that the press takes this liberty to the ultimate end of the spectrum and keeps trying to push a little more.
Enough pulpit thumping from me.
