Do they make an antivenin out of snake venom? I thought they used to but it seems like it's made of horse serum now.

How antivenin is made is first the venom is collected from the snake. Then they inject small amounts of venom in horses and sheep. They keep doing that until the sheep or horse builds a imunity from the venom and scinetist extract horse blood the delute it blood down to the immune cells, and that pretty much covers it.
