I have a unidentified lizard species from North Africa(Tunisia). My mother brought it from a trip there and I have no ideea what it is or how I should care for it. I think it is an agamid species or something simillar. It has a spiny tail like a spiny taile iguana, a flat body, and relativily small head. it is pretty simillar to a bearded dragon in collour and body shape. Any leads would be highly apreciate it.

I can't say for certain without a picture, but from your description, it sounds like a Uromastyx species. Fortunately, Uro's are relatively easy to care for. They are omnivores, which means they'll eat almost anything, but they are especially fond of fresh or cooked chopped vegetables, such as beans, peas, squash, greens, etc. Like all lizards, they require full-spectrum UVB lighting in order to utilize dietary calcium, and you'll need to supplement its food with calcium and vitamin powders made for reptiles. The most important thing to remember about Uromastyx is that they like it HOT, in terms of temperatures. You'll need to provide a basking spot in the cage during the day in which the temperature is AT LEAST 100 degrees Fahrenheit, with a cooler end at around 80-85 degrees. Being desert animals, they also like it dry. A good substrate is a fine sand made for reptiles, with a flat rock under the basking light(NOT a "Hot Rock", one of those electric things). Once a day, mist the animal itself with cool water, since that is how they usually drink, by licking the water off their own faces, though some will occasionally lap from a shallow dish. Uromastyx are very gentle animals, and I've never known one to bite. They are very popular as pets here in the US.

Thank you very much for the info. I also identified it as an Uromastyx acantinurus or North-African Spiny tailed lizard. I think it`s a male. I found some good care sheets on it. Thanks again for the info.
