Well I let her go. In a way, I want to fight the law, and just keep her. But I've already disregarded my landlord's quite blunt "HELL NO!" to my questioning if it was ok to own a hot. I will continue to catch these magnificant animals and study them in the field until I live somewhere, where maybe, I'll be allowed to keep them again. As far as my gravid lady, I had her in an "add on" closet to my Apartment. Sealed off from the main building where I live (and insulated and climate controlled), which itself was locked. The tank was also locked, so the event of somoene other than myself getting bit would, more than likely, never happen. But I guess the ignorance of the head haunchos in the legal system will always prevail. So until I move somewhere else, I guess I'll just have to admire these creatures in the wild.
