Hi,
I dont know much but I know that they are a new world pit viper in the genus Agkistrodon (along with copperheads and cottonmouths) there are a few subspecies. I know of the common cantil and the Taylor cantil. Again I dont know much but this is a little

I keep a Taylor's Cantil. It is a typical Agkistrodon in temperment & behaivior. Nice animals overall.
