possibly rare copperhead coloration?

ive never thought too much of it till now, but my first hot snake i ever caught (and still have) is a copperhead, and ive never seen pictures of any that look like it does. it has a really bright yellow head and really light sandy colored body with light brown markings. ill have to get a pic of on here. but has anyone seen colors like this before? it was caught in charlotte north carolina. which brings me to another question, is it northern or southern? or maybe its both?
