Can someone point me in the direction of a care sheet for Fea's vipers? I love them and want to get a pair or trio maybe next year(if I can find them that is).
Any and all info will be appreciated.
Have a good one

I went to a talk about these year before last.
There just isn't enough known about these for non-experts to really get started with them.
The best I can do for you is to tell you that the zoo in Columbia, South Carolina (Riverbanks Zoo) is working with them and might share info with you. I do know that the senior reptile people there do not approve of individuals keeping venomous reptiles.
Good Luck,
Karl

hey i don t blame you for likeing them snakes there a fantastic snake i love them to but i ve never seen a care sheet on the net about Azemiops feae what i do know is they distribute N Myanmar Burma), N Vietnam
China from W Yunnan and S Shaanxi east to Zhejiang, south to Guangxi; Kweichow, Sichuan, Fujien, Jiangxi SE Tibet. Elevation 600-1500 .
theres No sensory pit between nostril and eye. Total length males 925 mm females 820; tail length males 100 mm, females 80 mm.
there might be a zoo working with them but i don t expect to find a care sheet for this type of snake. you could search the net for some other info though.
see what you can anyway.
SHAUN .

The trick is getting good, properly collected, healthy specimens to start off with.
I'd check with Ryan Blakely @ "Wild Ryno". I saw some out at his place. He advertises on kingsnake and will probably be more likely to share husbandry info than some snooty curator.

Thanks for the info guys. I checked with the Riverbanks zoo, and got some info. Sounds like they’re pretty hard to keep. Hey anonymous person, do you have a website for the "Wild Ryno" guy?
Thanks again everybody,
Jason
