Hi, I have two cottonmouths housed together. If you have cottonmouths, I would like to know how your cage setup is. What bedding you use, heating, basking area, etc.

Anything nontoxic from wal-mart will do. Your gonna want something easy to clean out. I use corn cob from w- mart. $3.00 for a 5 lb bag.

Be careful with that crushed corn cob from Wal-Mart. I've used that before, but quickly did away with it when I saw what it does in water: expand. If your snake managed to swallow any significant amount, it could swell and potentially kill it.

Cypress mulch is what i use in all my tanks. It is cheap you can buy a bag for 1.97 at walmart or home depo. That goes for eastern diamondbacks too. It also helps keep moisture in and that helps keep the humidity up.
