On October the 10th. im going on a camping trip to disoto state park in north AL. I was wondering if anyone thinks i mite still get some good luck on finding coppers & timbers / canebrakes. If anyone in here lives nere that area i would realy like to know. The place im going is just east of the sand mount. area & just north of the city of Fort Paine, AL.......thanks guys & happy herping....Wally

You still should be able to find those snakes. Alabama has a fairly warm climate this time of year. You may have to search overgrown areas around buildings and natural structures, but above all use your head and be careful.
