I have caught a lot of snake during full moon. Three weeks ago I went road crusing and caught three coppers. Mabye there are more than you think. Also it is better to go right before dusk. When I was down in the Okefenokee I saw most of the snakes in the evening before dark.

Not to much moon at all.. I catch plenty of snakes even when the moon is bright. I catch alot of my snakes just before dark, while the sun is still up. With some snakes, the darker the better, but doesn't mean they aren't moving. You should do fine if you hit some nice hot spots. Hope this helps & good luck..
