Nope. DNA is part of the answer, but not part of the clue. RNA is a big part of the answer, what does RNA produce? The function of a venom fraction is based on the> BLANK. Tim

Well, I can see that my qustion went over like a turd in a punch bowl. My clue was XX, which correlates to the number twenty. My second clue, RNA, which is responsible for protein production. Protein would be general answer to my question, but a more specific answer would be AMINO ACIDS. There are 20 amino acids, and the ones in your body are the same a.a.'s that are in snake venom. The difference is the sequence of the a.a.'s, which produce the deleterious effects of venom(enzymes vs polypeptides). They have different target sites, and the a.a. seq. determines the function of the protein. A change in one a.a. can alter the specific effect. Well, that's it folks, can't say I didn't try. Tim
