I recently answered the poll on the home page and it got me wonderin,i have 5 c/b horridus horridus,and i was wondering if crofab is the antivenom for these and if so could i get it and how much would it cost? how do does it need to be kept?but i think it would be smart to have on hand in case of emergencies?Its long way to hospital and im pretty sure they dont have it,and its about 150 miles to hospital that does,is there any site to find out where antivenom is located in your state?.thanks for any info

Crofab should be available at your local hospital if there is the potential for envenomations from native reptile fauna in your region. Thus, you should have no need of purchasing it for yourself. Crofab is the FDA approved medication for North American Crotalidae.
