Hello snakecatcher
Copperheads Give birth in August to early October, live young, about 1-14 of the lil guys. And the people here have told me that spring and fall are the best times. And if u want to find them in summer lift up tin, boards, rotting logs, etc.
Also, where is it that you live? A good book to look in to is the National Audubon Society, very good book. Helps a bunch.
