I don't care if I step on any toes. I'll take the risk for you, lol. This is a disgrace and it is absolutely necessary the name of who did this gets out. The company in question, if you haven't figured it out yet, is of course CAROLINE REPTILE EXCHANGE. They are extremely well-known to dealing in venomoids on the Kingsnake classifieds. In fact, I think that's just about all the day, save for the every-once-in-a-while "cheap" intact animal they sell. This may be in danger of being deleted, but so be it. Their responce to you is right in line with the other scams they've tried to pull. You of course shouldn't have waited for his dad to return, because he's supposedly dead...and alive...and dead again. I guess if you waited until the rapture...lol, sorry couldn't resist. Anyway, I do hope this post stands, because these people have to be stopped. The very possibility, not matter how remote it may be, that they might have mixed up packages and sent you the venomoid king and sent someone else a hot one that was expecting a venomoid speaks loads for itself. Someone's life could be very much in danger right now due to their negligence. I would say good luck to you, but I very much doubt he ever had any intentions of giving you back your money so that's probably a moot point. I do hope they get theirs though.

You sir, are correct. I was told by the cleaning guy at 3pm to call back at 4pm. I'll let you know what Bruce said.

I'm sorry for your loss and the catastrophy that has occured. I hope for all keepers sake that those dumb@$$E$ didn't ship a hot to an unsuspecting person.
I'm wondering what would happen IF they did send your hot king to someone who ordered a venomoid king and that "venomoid" king killed the customer, would that be considered reckless manslaughter?
If a mixup resulted in a death what would be the consequences? Even if it didn't result in death I wounder if they could get nailed for attempted murder?????? After all, if a mixup happened then someone out there could be playing with a loaded gun so to speak.
Again, I feel really bad for your loss and situation. I hope those butts go out of business real soon.
By the way, I do believe that you can file a lawsuit because you never recieved the product you ordered. Considering you ordered a venomous snake and that is NOT what you were shipped. If you can prove that you didn't venomoid the animal between the time you reveived the snake and its death, you should undoubtedly win(I believe you didn't but that is something that they might say to get out of it). Also, I would report them to the Better Business Bureu(sp??)
Regards,
T.C.

If you paid with a credit card request a chargeback ASAP. You have a time limit to do this so call the bank right away. If you didnt pay by credit card take them to small claims.

I paid by check, so that option is not open to me now. I wish it were! But I have already contacted the Fort Mill Magistrate and have begun the process of filing a claim.
I called yesterday and kept getting the kid hired to do the cleaning, and apparently answer phones. He took my messages but no one ever returned my calls or email.. That's the latest.
Now I know why it took four weeks to process my order. It was in surgery with a number of other victims.

Ahhhh... If you paid by check and sent it by US postal service it then falls into the catagory as "Mail Fraud" which the postal service is VERY VERY happy to go after them. I found this out after I was ripped off too... File a claim there and they have 30 day to fix it or else...works nicely!

scum pure scum, i used to live in charlotte nc, when bruce was the manager of pet pros in pineville, he was a 100 percent jerk. one day i witnessed two men come in and buy a ball python, the gave him 110 dollars and as soon as they left he was laughing saying the snakes were priced at 85 dollars. after that i quit going there, later on i heard the owner of pet pros found out he was keeping hots in the store which is very illegal in charlotte, and fired him. his store now claims that all of the venomoids he has are done by a veterenarian. if this is true this incident shows that the venomoid procedure is still very flawed even when performed by a licensed vet.

I have a photo of the botched procedure, if anyone cares to see it.
I contacted Delta Dash and am trying to get their privliges pulled. So I'm doing what I can, but I'm sure they've been through all of this before and have a defense already planned.
If you'd like to see a photo, email at: thbc3@comcast.net
