where can i find info about keeping venomous in tenessee, and can i get a permit.what would happen if i had venomous with out a permit

Bad news, my friend. You have to have huge liability insurance and the cost of a permit is something like $1000 per year, assuming that they'll grant you one.
As for keeping without one, well, I doubt if the Snake Police will bust your door down at 3 am, but I've heard that the fine is a big one. And, there's always the chance of the neighbors ratting you out.
