Go 100mg/kg on both once, then repeat in 14 days. If you need more help, yell out. Don't put it in the food, tube it 1/3 down. At this point you could take a sample to the vet and be sure, or deal with it. Tim

There have been reports of subclinical (not enough to cause obvious sickness) leukopenia (shortage of white blood cells) fron Panacur, which attacks fast-growing cells. And intestinal necrosis from overdoses. In farm animals (herbivorous mammals who chew their food), it's known to be strongly preferentially absorbed by parasites. But a snake's digestive system is nothing like that of a herbivorous mammal that chews its food, and nobody's studied it in them. While I won't diasgree with 100 mg/kg, I've been going lower (50-75) on prophylactic ("just in case") doses since hearing this.
50 mg/kg is generally reckoned the therapeutic dose.
(The amount required to have the desired effect.)
See, for example, http://www.icomm.ca/~dragon/parasite.htm

100 migs on Panacur kills cestodes also, saves on Droncit. Another 25 migs ain't going to nothing, Panacur is very safe. Darn, I do 20 migs on Amikacin, even though 2.5 is recommended. Show me the reports and I'll buy it. Most people can't even dose drugs, so I don't believe too much. I always hit on the high end, but that's my own experience. Thanks for the comments. Tim
