Can someone please help me...My son, 5 years old, has been bitten (end of July 2001) by a Vipera berus sp. in Austria. He has been treated in the hospital (not with anti venom), but the expertise of these doctors was limited. Can someone explain or help my in any way. If you can give me an adress who I can contact please do so....
Some of the clinical features are:
Red blood casts in the urine. And suffering from severe internal blood loss. The nephrologist (kidney expert) can not explain why these casts are still (end nov 2001)present in his urine. Can someone explain this?? Because before this incident my son was in great health.
What can we do about this?
And if someone has useful information (which can explain something)please mail me. And if you have information about this snake and his venom please mail also.
