I have a Central American Boa. She was CB-2000. August 16 to be exact. When we brought her home I measured her at approx. 21-22 inches. Over a year later she is still at only 22 maybe 23 inches. She has girthed a little but not grown in length. She is my baby and I am concerned that something is wrong. What can possibly be the problem? She eats, but not as often as I would like her to. And as far as shedding, she gets stuck in her sheds. So I end up soaking her and shedding her by hand. This has gone on about five times thus far. Please, any advice or answers would be welcomed. Non vens are certianly not our strong point.

She should definitely be a LOT larger than a couple of inches growth in a year. The first thing I'd check is the temps. Is she warm enough?
