I've gotten a couple emails lately from this guy and I'm interested to know if anyone else has dealt with him before. His website is http://www.africanreptile.4t.com/. At any rate, he's got some things that I'd be interested in.

I got scammed by african reptile dealers so be very very very carefull. Please, lots of people have contacted me and said that they also got scammed. Cheers, Alex S.

I'd be real careful on this one,If you goto his site and click on U.S.A. it says to contact his U.S. partner who's name just happens to be Mohamed Ali as in the famous boxer,Mohamed is a Muslim name not African.Just my opinion,sounds too fishy.

That's funny, his partner's Yahoo profile says he resides in Egypt, NOT where the phone number goes to the Ft. Worth area....odd, since the profile was just updated on 2/1/05. I would rather steer clear of this.
Your call, but this is too fishy.

HA!!!! Both you and the kid have hair now! And you both look very different....Hope your enjoying fatherhood....They grow fast huh?...I thought you disappeared. I've been living the rich life off that Iraqi cash you sent to me...lol... Anyhow, I'd avoid the african dealers unless you get a very credible reference, the scammers seem to get our email addresses off here, I've gotten a few too.

Hi Sierra,
How goes? Long time no see. Yes, she's getting to be a big girl. Very talkative and very independant, from what the ex tells me...and getting to look more and more like me. I've missed far too much this deployment. Last time she just laid there and pooped. Now she actually does things.
FYI, A fairly large part of Africa, particularly northern Africa, is predominantly Muslim, so it wouldn't be uncommon to come across Africans with names such as Mohmoud or Mohomad or Ahmed. At any rate, I know that there are more than a few low lives pretending to sell animals out there, so I thought I'd do a little due dilligence.

I was wondering if anyone else got this... By the way - Africa has a huge Muslim population, especially on the west coast,so don't let that throw you. I'd avoid this guy like the Ebola virus.

I didn't know that a large portion of africa was Muslim,Guess I need to do a little more reaserch before I answer a post,sorry about that and thanks for correcting me.
