Recently had the misfortune of not knowing this information. And now i do know and from my searching in the past and recently i know its not readily available on the net or in any books, atleast the ones i had access to look at.So i recently had a conversation with 2 WV DNR officers and they informed me that a "couple years ago they started regulating reptiles(im thinkin 2003)and unfortunately i didnt look into the laws or regulations enough cause after everything i read or got told saying WV was one of the states that seemed to have no laws about reptiles thats what i went by and a few charges later,my converstaion with officers:( I have realized there were regulations, permits, things i needed to know about reptiles in WV.
So here are a couple emails i have recieved from DNR concerning reptiles in WV hopefully it will save someone some of the trouble i have had to go through.

Look at:

You might also want to go the the NYC website and search under the word Iguana.

Also, check out:

Would seem that Hillary does not want you NYC folks to keep any animals at all.
