We read about bans and regulations on our hobby being passed in the senate but dont these people work for us!!!!!! Let's make a petition and if 10 people from each state print's it out and get as many signatures as possible on then and then passes them on to our rep in congress and the house we will have a foot in the door. We are doing nothing by just complaining here, let's do it where it counts! Who is for this Idea? Who can make a petition that states our concearns,hobby,and goal's? Let's start now befor more laws are passed to prevent us from keeping what we love!

These are State Lawmakers that are doing these Bans, pushed along by the likes of ALA & PETA. You go house to house to get signatures on those petitions and see how many signatures you get. 99% of the general public hate snake, especially Venomous and would not vote for a house full in their neighborhood. Can you say "LOST CAUSE"
The Hot herp community can't be united on any front. Like I said we can't even take a stand on "Venomoids" because it causes a bitter division.
When you make noise about someone being "stupid or reckless" in public your labeled as "sticking your nose" where it doesn't belong, in addition to many other things.
The "Phantom" suggested several ways to start cleaning up our act but was attacked for suggesting such heresy.
I suggested the same thing to a few key people by email, only one even replied to my email. I'm not at all suprised who responded positively, since I consider him a "Real Pro".
I have made the call also..but I ended up with a "Patrol" when we need "Batallions" of soldiers.
Kiss the hobby goodby...It's just a matter of time. The best we can hope for are Permit systems like in FL & other States.
