Hy. I`ve been keeping a pope since november 2004 and it`s doing fine. I had some difficulties in feeding it at first but after 3 months she ate fine :) . Realy. There is a care sheet here at the articles section about arborial vipers. You`ll find everything you`ll need to know about keeping it. The basics are: give them a lot of space(especialy hight), humidity(spray the enclosure dayly), a lot of branches on which to climb one, and lots of foliege(plastic leaves will do fine). Handle it with care(NEVER free handle or tail them; cause they can climb up over their own body extremely fast and they are very unpredictable). I don`t have the means to get long tongs or forcesps and dead mice to tease feed it so I feed it live mice and she eats well now. Give it about 27-29 degrees celsius in the basking spot.
P.S.: Tease feeding is best done at nigh time.
Good luck.
Best regards, Alex S.
