Gee...Maybe on the finer points on how not to get tagged in the head by a Black Mamba...or if that one's not good enough..Free Handling always gets the blood pumping...LOL
Terry.. Kidding a side...that monster King Cobra you posted on KS: Elapid forum is breath taking...pun NOT intended.. Best looking one I've ever seen... Even beats the Thai Red Cross "Snake Farm" Kings.
Weather was too cool in AZ for any herps...Lizards were not even out...Going back in May..to try again.

I think it's finally happening. I think I'm finally having venomous withdrawls... it's been over 7 months since I completely got out of venomous, though it feels like years, and it's setting in...lol. Ah well, they'll pass. I think as more time passes, the rate at which states begin looking at banning venomous and other "dangerous" animals is speeding up! Guess I'm glad I got out when I did...but I'm probably not out of the woods. Oh no...my olive python female is 12' long...bet they'll be banned too no doubt. And the womas, well they hurt like a b!tch when they bite, so oops, ban them too! Let's see...the bps....well they don't do much, so they're boring. Ban them too just for the hell of it!! Good stuff.

Well Al, hopefully she doesn't ever take my breath away! I hand raised that animal from 24 inches. She is one hell of a dangerous King too! gotta love her.
I wish I could take a few more photos of things, but my cd drive or whatever is screwed up so I can't seem to get my photos off of my camera now....

Welcome back Jeremy :-) I knew I could count on you to generate something to stir thing up ;-)
Also, No I never think..I'll let this Gabbon viper bite my arm..just to see what it feels like.
If you want to know what a horridus bite feels like, just turn your stove and place your hand in the flame or on the heating element. Then keep it there for a while.

I have few pictures from my visit. See my "Field Herping" link below, which included a few day in Komodo.

They had many "super large" Kings what were receintly reported stolen, for FOOD. About 50-60 of them :-(. The Senior Keeper, held the biggest like it was a puppy dog..I was too flabergasted to raise my camera and snap a picture. I was standing next to him in a huge "quanset hut" enclosure with many Kings around us, not one was agressive. He just picked this monster up like it was a Boa and it behaved like on too.
