the survey from last year about getting envenomated you know those who have and those who will and I have to say that is kind of a trick question I know we mean keepers in the survey BUT!!! I know of someone I will disclose the names of those involved but I heard a story not to long ago about a customer going to a distributors home to check out what was received in a shipment and while opening bags upon bags of UNLABELED animals from a unnamed wholesaler while a fellow venomous keeper was reaching across the top of the box that the shipment was packed in to grab a pair of snips to pop the zip tie holding the bag closed and WHAM one of the other bags hitt him right on the forearm once again in a totally unlabeled bag no VENOMOUS or anything he found himself heavily envenomated by a quite large cotton mouth and it just goes to show you even when you are keeping hot's and you are a resposible person who knows how to deal with the animals in question sometimes you receive a bite from someone else's lack of care for your well being I mean a cotton or really any pit-viper can tag you even through a non transparent bag and was able to strike a good foot from where it was sitting My personal lesson from this was even with labeled bags from wholesale dealers I always use my tongs to remove any bags or deli cups from the shipping box being that this incident was related to the survey I thought it best to post this story here as it will get more recognition and be veiwed by more people and hopefully save someone else from a envenomation in the future

Good story and great moral. Quick question though for ya, does the period button work on your keyboard? Thats the longest run-on sentence I have ever seen in my life :-)
