I just got back from herping in south GA for the last five days. I caught 1 racer, 1 banded water snake, 1 canebreak, 1 garter snake, and almost caught a huge moccasin that was around 4ft. All were caught road cruising except the racer that was found under some tin. I also saw a dead eastern diamondback and two dead racers. I thought that was a preety good trip for me. I also saw tons of other wildlife including frogs, bobcat, owls, racoon, amadillo, and a fox. I also saw many alligators and saved several turtles on the road. Around the okefenokee swamp there has been tons of rain and many of the good road cruising roads were so flooded that I could not even move through them.

Sounds like a pretty good trip Philip. We found quite a few Canebrakes about two weeks ago plus two Eastern Diamondbacks. Then all the usual Chain Kings, Grey Rats, ect. Any pics of the Canebrake?

I hope you used a potted tree to camoflauge yourself while taking out the trash. Philip and Friends* could have very easily charged you looking to lick the empty chef boyardee cans
